A free discussion guide for your team for Culture Drop videos.

Hey Culture Drop, I come bearing gifts! After a lot of requests for something like this, we created a free resource for your team to watch, discuss, and take action around Culture Drop vids:

“I have had a lot of requests for something to help teams shape the conversations or take action on a Culture Drop topic, not just watch it.”

Why we made it.

We know that teams are using Culture Drop videos in all kinds of ways. Some watch it every Tuesday together, others come together watch once a month, some send the videos out to their teams or for people to watch on their own.

I’ve heard great stories about teams using them for onboarding, for training, or as a go-to moment when something happens and the right video fits perfectly.

And I have had a lot of requests for something to help teams shape the conversations or take action on a Culture Drop topic, not just watch it. So here it is.

What’s in it?

“The resource is a single-page PDF that works as a discussion and action guide for any Culture Drop topic.”

The resource is a single-page PDF that works as a discussion and action guide for any Culture Drop topic. It includes a bunch of discussion prompts designed to get your team talking:

  • What resonated with you most in the video?

  • Where do we already do this really well?

  • Where are our areas of opportunity?

  • How would we rate ourselves, individually or as a team, on this topic?

  • What action can we take together? That could mean seeking out training, changing a process, or updating a system so we level up in this area.

Why it matters.

Watching a video and then figuring out what to do about it on your own isn’t as valuable as having some guidance. This gives your team a shared structure for the conversation and a clear path from “that was interesting” to “here’s what we’re going to do.”

It always brings me a lot of joy to hear how teams use these videos, and this is one more way to help those conversations turn into real impact.

Every single Culture Drop video is on my YouTube page.

“Every Culture Drop video we’ve ever made is on my YouTube page.”

If you need a topic to start with, every Culture Drop video we’ve ever made is on my YouTube page. Here is the link to go find them. We’ve been at this for years, so there are hundreds of them covering feedback, teams, culture, conflict and plenty more. Search for a topic that fits your team, watch it together with the guide, and start the conversation.

I hope you enjoy it, I hope you use it as a team, and that it brings real value. Thank you for being here. I love making these videos, and I love that they’re having (at least a little) impact out there:)
