Hard pill to swallow:
There are a lot of things in your life you may struggle with that could be solved (or greatly improved) in an hour’s time.
Some examples:
Asking for a raise
Negotiating salary for a job
Applying for a job
Interviewing well
Having a difficult conversation
Navigating conflict
Giving feedback
This sweet little tidbit, life-hack, brain-dump, call it what you want, from me to you: go and research it.
Stop winging it, or asking people for advice who also don’t really know.
There are doctorate degrees worth of information for free on the Internet from industry experts who put out content on YouTube, websites, and blogs.
For example, If you spent one hour of dedicated time on how to interview well before you went in and did a series of job interviews, you will be 10 times better at interviewing. That’s all it takes.
Don't wing it, don't guess.

I’m telling you right now: You probably don't know how to negotiate salary effectively, for example, unless you've actually done research and taken time to learn those tactical skills.
There are really effective ways to go about doing that that you would never think of and will give you a much higher chance at success. You're not born good at it, and acquiring just that one skill will make you a lot more money throughout your career.
Within one hour, you can be much better at any number of things that will make a huge impact on your life, so whatever it is, take an hour to just invest some time and level up.
There's so much information out there. Educate yourself. Be proactive, take it upon yourself to increase your own skill set.
It is a gift to yourself. But go seek it out, investigate it and just do it.
